The KF-40 (QF) to 1/2 inch NPT Male Pipe Adapter connects the ISO-KF Flange and the 1/2 in Male Pipe, and is made of stainless steel. The assembly of KF-40 (QF) to 1/2 NPT-Male Adapter consists of a clamp and an o-ring. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the o-ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring, to generate vacuum seal.
