Leybold provides multiple series of molecular pumps for different applications: TURBOVAC series mechanical bearing molecular pumps, TURBOVACIAG series magnetic levitation bearing molecular pumps TURBOVAC /X series semi-magnetic levitation molecular pumps (semi-magnetic levitation molecular pumps)
The magnetic levitation molecular pump is only equipped with grease lubricated oil bearings at the exhaust end, and black maintenance-free permanent magnetic bearings at the high vacuum end). Leybold molecular pumps do not use lubricating oil bearings, which not only avoids hydrocarbon contamination of the cavity but also can be installed at any angle.
